Speaking Easy

LETTING IT ALL OUT In an easy and intimate manner

THERE IS LIFE WHEN YOU speak this easy. You may not have that yet, but when you do you would see how awesome, how liberating, and how great it is. And as it hits you, you would soon feel its impact, as if encountering it for the first time. Do not treat it haphazardly like some lousy joke, though you can use it to poke fun at the expense of other people, but wield it as if it is a gun to your prey.  That is how sure it can be, how simple, how straightforward, how focused. If you're still uncomfortable with it, you might want to start speaking like this from now on, and you will soon see its value, its reason, its purpose. So the next time you come across a new encounter, a new adventure, a new lease on life even, stay on it, hug it, live through it, taste it, grab it by the neck, do not let go of it. Make it your bitch. But speaking in an easy manner is not easy speaking: the former is a connection, the latter, carelessness. There's so much around us that begs an expression or explanation, so much to live for. In fact, we speak in this manner to make our loved ones feel safe so that when they sleep at night, they will think of it as stars and they will wish upon it. Use it when you're in doubt, when you're thinking out loud, or when you're not sure of it. A lot can be said about speaking easy, not just a mere thing on top of that personal note or that trailing phrase from your nervous lips. There's that easy word on that sign across the street, that easy statement when you're angry, that easy meaning when you say something intimate to your friend, that easy nerve in your heart so you can actually give with no ifs and buts. It gives so much, yet it takes a lot, too. It initiates action, it barks a rule, it sheds a tear, it maims the spirit, and its force is so great that all you need to do is blurt it out, whisper it to someone special. So it starts with speaking easy, and from there---great things. You need to take care of it. It means so much to others that they would lay down their lives as its ransom. That life as soon as you speak it easy and the smile it gives. Keep it with you, and it will keep you someday.
